Questions & Answers for Samsung - Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition - 32GB - Black

Question

Does the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 come with 32gb of internal storage or a 32gb SD card?

I already have a 64gb SD Card at home that I can use for memory. I'm debating between the 16gb version of the tablet and the 32gb version of the tablet.

The Galaxy Note comes with 32 gigs of internal storage. I believe there is a 16 gig version as well but that might just be with the Tab. There is no reason you can't use your 64 gig SD card to increase your memory capacity. I have the 32 gig model and after 10 months there is about half of it left. I just bought a 64 gig card last week, just in case I needed more room.

The Samsung rep at Best Buy knew nothing about this when I asked him the same question. He said we can use Adobe Flash. He suggested that we go to the Adobe website and find archived versions and download the latest archived version. I have not tried it. I'm just telling you what he told me about 4 or 5 days ago. I have no idea what other options there are. I originally became aware of this a few months ago and did an internet web search. I tried the solution I found but I was unable to solve my problem, however, and gave up due to a lack of time and of not needing it (thus far).

Careful with that when they sell you the product depending in who it is s one will promise you the moon and stars if you buy the coverage but a few honest reps will tell you the devil is in the details. So read the condition and all the other small print. As I understand it does cover cracked screens just make sure you tell them it was an accident. Do not say it was on purpose like some reps have told me in the past was ok.

The base 1-year factory warranty provided by Samsung covers repairs required due to hardware failure and factory defect, but not physical damage. Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) coverage is only available under select Geek Squad Protection plans.

I do college online and have a laptop and the Note 2014 edition. For school work I prefer my laptop(17.3" screen). If I had to carry it around everywhere I'd probably feel differently. The note can do most of things that a laptop can do but if your classes need specific programs like MS Word or Excel or Office than a laptop in any size is your best bet(just make sure that cpu/memory/storage is upto par. Android devices are evolving and it won't be long before they truly surpass what a good pc can do, but they're not there yet(but this one is very close). This tablet is great for audio/video/games/web browsing. It does come with many apps that mirror the MS Office suite, but they don't have all the features. The ability to write notes with this tablet is neat but if you're already good at typing it won't make much of a difference. I have a bluetooth keyboard/case for my note but the keyboard has to be in use for about a minute or two before the tablet will stay connected otherwise if you stop typing for a second or two it will disconnect which is really annoying. A new thing with these tablet is that you can finally print to a printer via your wifi if the printer is also wifi. This tablet is great but I do recomend a reasonable laptop for school.

My galaxy note is great, however, the amount of time you are going to use the note to do term papers and other documents will be hard on you. The keyboard is not the best. It might be good for taking down fast notes at a class or lecture, but not to do in the long term such as writing an essay. I find that typing fast on the note leads to misspellings.

Question

Android Email Defect

In the last two months.I have owned A Galaxy Note 8 and a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition; I have returned both for the same reasons. The factory installed email program has two defects I can't live with. 1. I retain my emails on the server for three days. After I have downloaded emails and trashed them, the system continues to download them again over-and-over for three days. 2. I refuse to forward emails that have not been "cleaned up" of past names and email addresses. This email program will let you clean up such information, except for the information (email addresses/names) from the person who forwarded it to me without cleaning it up. It is not apparent that this happens because that information is not displayed as you prepare to forward the email; but it all shows up in the sent email. I have brought the tablets to the Samsung desk at Best Buy three times, and worked with Samsung tech support on the phone for nearly 90 minutes; they say they have never heard of this defect, confirm that it exists, try changing settings, but in the end cannot fix it. Otherwise I like the Galaxy Note tablets, particularly the S Pen. But I will not buy another until this defect is corrected. I would also like to send this information to the Google Android software people but cannot find a website to do so. Would appreciate your help.

I have the note 2014 edition no problems I believe your problem is how you set up email accounts and can be solved by going on Internet open your email account and go through the settings and somewhere there will be a setting that says what to do when deleting emails on different devices then go to settings on 2014 and do the same.

About cleaning up email I have no problem I do the same it's all in how you set up your account.

I have a Note 2014 10.1 and a Galaxy S4. I use both of these devices for my personal and work email (exchange server). I have not experienced these issues with my phone or tablet. I at first had problem with email staying on the server after deleting, but after adjusting some settings it was corrected. Hope you can resolve your issues as well.
