This unit takes a standard 110v plug. You can look at the bottom of the specifications tab on Bestbuy.com to see the voltage rating. Also, if you need to double check, you can look at Frigidarie.com and a picture of the plug type is shown with each individual air conditioner.

This unit is designed for either Window or Wall mounting/installation
so you "Wall Kit" is needed. The design is such that the outer cabinet
is installed first then you slide the Mechanism assembly into the already installed Air Conditioner cabinet.
So if you want this unit to be built-in to the wall you make the wall openinglarge enough o hold the Cabnet, Secure the Cabinet in the Wall, then slide the Mech assy in the Cabinet.
If it ever needs repair or service you can just slide the unit out of the Wall leaving behind the outer cabinet.

You could say that this unit comes with a "Wall Kit" included
for mounting in a wall.

you can use extension cable, but heavy duty one. the wire will get hot, and it tends to use more amperage when having more resistance.
