When using a Macintosh The supplied software “PMB” is not supported by Macintosh computers.

You can however transfer your files via USB drag and drop and use iMovie to manage your video files.

the HDR-CX160 does not have Night vision to view or record in total darkness. The HDR-CX160 does however have a back-illuminated “Exmor R” cMOS sensor for superb low-light video.

Experience stunning low-light sensitivity with improved image clarity and drastically
reduced grain with Sony’s back-illuminated “Exmor R” CMOS sensor. Designed for
compact cameras and camcorders, the “Exmor R” sensor relocates the photo diodes
above the support circuitry, maximizing the light gathering area per pixel so you can shoot
with better results in lower lighting conditions.

The Camcorder can be used in Europe. You can charge the Battery Pack in any countries/regions using the AC Adaptor supplied with the Camcorder within the AC 100V - 240V, 50Hz/60Hz range. However, when connecting the Camcorder to the TV, the Picture may not output due to the Color System being NTSC in the Camcorder and PAL in the TV.

You can transfer the files from the Camcorder HDR-CX160 to a Computer and then use the supplied Picture Motion Browser Software to burn the files on a disc.
Please follow the steps mentioned on the link provided below:
http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/disoft/int/pmb/feature/index.html#disk
Please check out the Video Tutorials under the Heading “Creating a Disc” to create Discs of your choice.
You can also purchase a DVDirect Unit to connect the Camcorder to it and burn the videos on to a DVD without using a Computer.
