Yes you can switch kid mode off and use as a regular tablet. I have the Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 also. Its basically just like my tablet except its child safe. It can grow with your child when they are old enough to use it without kid mode.

My child uses ABC Mouse also and I was told that Flash Player can't be installed anymore on phones or tablets. I went to the play store and bought "Puffin" browser ($.99) which has flash player integrated in it. ABC Mouse works great now.

It does support Adobe Flash, however that must be downloaded directly from Adobe's website (rather than most apps, that allow you to use the Google Play Store).

The Kids tablet has a rubberized bumper around the edges that make it a bit larger than a regular tablet, so the cover for a standard tablet will not fit.

Yes. You can "pin" movies you've purchased in Google Play to your tab and then grant your kids access to the Google Play Movies app. This will work for older kids, but frustrate toddlers.

For my toddler I used an app called GrabIt to download episodes from YouTube into the native video player for kids. That was not difficult for the 2 year old to master and he spent a whole road trip playing nursery rhyme videos.

Yes, several services allow you to download content to your Tablet for watching later. With a Wi-Fi connection, you can also stream using Netflix or other live content partners too.

Movies in video formats can be watched using various players as well.

Not sure, but this is the exact same hardware as a Galaxy Tab3 but with Kids apps. I would check the features listing to see if the normal Tab3 handles flash. I know that my Tab3 Kids had Android 4.2 and only HoneyComb (3.0) was flash compatible.

You have to add the music player to the kids mode you must click on the apps tab. Next click on the add card button and you will be able to choose the music card. You will also have to go to the standard screen and add music to the player.

For music, you have to be on the adult mode. Down load your music of choice and listen to it. I think it automatically downloads to the kids mode side as well.

Most manufacturer warranties only cover defects in the product and do not extend to physical damage coverage of any kind. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you.

I think It means the only preloaded app that'll be advertised on the tablet as a preloaded and a partnership app will be the nook. You can still download, keep saved content, and continue to use the kindle app if that's what you prefer.

The Nook is preloaded, although the other apps are usually available for you to download from the Google Play Store.

It's up to you if you'd like to add those book apps to the Kids section.

We aren't sure about the apps you listed. The Google Play Store website is at this link:
https://play.google.com/store?hl=en

.. indicates that Raz-Kids can be found here:
https://play.google.com/store/search?q=razkids&hl=en

We couldn't find ABC Mouse, but it may be available in the store or on the school's website.
