Question

What's the speed of the DDR3 memory? Does it have SATA2 or SATA3?

Which motherboard is in this? That will answer the SATA question. Also, why can't I find this model on the Gateway website?

This product supports up to 8 GB of dual-channel 1333 MHz DDR3 system memory, using four DIMM modules. This product comes built on to the motherboard 6 SATA2 connections.

How does this one differ from the previous i5-8GB-1TB Gateway model?

Sound Card Question

I want to install the Asus Xonar STX for audio performance.

The Xonar STX has a MOLEX power connector- does this comp's motherboard have a MOLEX connector?

A molex connector comes from the power supply and not the motherboard. You should not have to upgrade the power supply.

Will this accept an additional hard drive?

Is there a maximum HD size or capacity that this comp will accept?

Can you confirm that this comp has two rear USB 3.0 ports as displayed in the product specs?

I installed a second 1TB HDD on this computer, there is room for a total of 2. Not sure about max size.

There are two USB ports on the back that say "high speed". Not sure if that means 3.0.

This computer does not have an additional SATA port for a second hard drive. It accepts standard size hard drives and have no capacity limit. There are two USB 3.0 ports as listed.

The PSU is like 300W or 350W. I removed and installed a 550W along with a graphics card.

The built-in wireless capabilities on this computer connect to your existing wireless network at your home just as a wireless laptop would. If you have a wireless router already(which is typically provided by your cable/internet provider), then there is essentially nothing else you would need. There is an antenna that comes with the computer and that attaches onto the back of the computer.
