I've seen the batteries going for $100-130 bucks on eBay. Something like the Galaxy tab though, I wouldn't cheap skate on. I've seen my purchase as an investment to last so quality battery replacement through a reputable dealer would be my option. As far as going through Samsung however, I'm sure they would charge an arm and a leg. While Best Buy is an authorized service provider for most brands, we do not provide repair services for mobile phones not covered by a Geek Squad Protection (GSP) plan. If you do not have GSP coverage for your phone, then you would need to contact your service provider or the phone's manufacturer for service and support.
