Thank you for your interest in the LC-60LE640U. The Sharp Remote can be programmed to control various connected equipment. The record button on the remote is only for VCRs with the ability to record and recorders with Aquos Link . When using either device, you press the REC button on the Sharp remote to activate that device.

Great question! You cannot connect wirelessly to the LC60LE640U and use the TV as a monitor. You can, however, connect wirelessly using the DLNA features and stream video, music and photos.

We do not recommend using the LC60LE640U in direct sunlight. This model was designed to be used indoors. Due to climate changes and moisture in the air, we do not recommend using this model outdoors.

There are a few ways to boost the reception. The most common reason for weak reception is low signal. You can have low signal due to the router being too far from the television or because too many devices are sharing wireless signal. You may want to turn off devices that use the signal while not in use and then move the router.

We don't have the icon listed with the manufacturer product description and I looked through Sharp's owner's manual, but could not find anything stating that Pandora is available on this TV. It's Smart Enabled, so if may be possible to download an app or the website.

Question

CABLES?

Why do no cables come with this TV? If they aren’t going to provide them, why didn’t the guy selling it to us at Best Buy suggest what cables we needed? Do you know how far it is to drive back there? New TV and won’t be able to use it!

If you computer has an HDMI port you can use this. or you can connect standard vega cable to back of tv and out the side of your laptop from the port for an external monitor and also use a 3.5 stereo jack from the head phone out on the pc to the back of the tv.pc stereo input. The manual explains this at sharp.com. A Bestbuy associate should be ableto demonstrate this for you. I use an old desktop connected by stereo jack and rs232 vega cable.
