Yes it will. If you're running Windows the drivers should be preinstalled. If you're not, the ones that come on the cd with the printer will connect the devices.

It's a push button action. Just push it in until you hear a click & it's in. The same to take it out. Push in until you hear the click & then release. It comes right out.

The 6600 should work for you just fine. I had a 3rd Gen iPad and used HP's "HPePrint" app to connect to this exact printer. The main thing you need to make sure of is that you have the printer and your iPad connected to a wireless network. I had a Verizon MiFi "hockey puck" and connected the printer and my iPad to it and printed a lot of documents.

Are you printing a document already created by someone else? Or are you printing a document you created. If you are creating the document, go to the page set-up and make sure it has background color as blank or no background color.

How old is the ink? Could be the ink is mixing together somehow... Weird. My printing is not pale blue at all. You might just have a defective printer. It happens !!!

Question

I can't copy from a book

The copy and scan functions work fine on my printer except when I want to copy a page from a book, which involves having the lid partly open, then it refuses to copy. Is there a fault with my printer or is this something I just can't do? Because I do need to sometimes!

If you gently hold down the lid while you copy a page out of a book, that should help. You need to make the book as flat as possible on the glass.

Should have nothing to do with ruining your wifi. I would check the settings on your router. If the printer recognizes the wifi connection I would not think it would have anything to do with your other tech products. It usually always comes down to settings. Try setting up printer manually rather then letting it do it automatically.

Set your printer with a fixed (static) IP address which is at the top end of the IP range (like 230) so any dymanic IP that gets set won't conflict with the printer.
