Question

Please provide more detail about the difference between an F5500 and the EH5300

In a previous post Mr. Samsung stated he would be happy to proved a detailed comparison of these two products. He said the F5500 has a better processor, SmartTV 2.0 and an improved interface, and S-Recommendation features.
Can you please provide this detailed comparison and specifics regarding the processors, etc.

Possibly, but what is the difference in price? Those numbers are the things that made me ask questions of a tech savvy friend when I purchased a TV for my living room. Mostly if the Pixel, and Hz are the same it usually has more to do with inputs than picture, but ultimately it's what is pleasurable to your eye as long as all the other features are the same.

We don't have a comparison on the internal parts available, although the F5500 has a dual core processor and the EH5300 does not, so an upgrade is offered there.

The Smart 2.0 interface is a newer platform that - thanks to the improved processor - allows you to get the latest Apps, and recommendations of what you view as well as social platforms like Facebook and other social options quicker and with a wider range of participants.

Thanks for the opportunity to clarify the differences. We appreciate your interest in Samsung televisions.

I believe these are M6 or 6 mm, a metric size specified by VESA that is almost the same as a USA 1/4 inch. Normally these screws, which are "odd-ball" here in the USA, are supplied with the bracket. The mounting dimensions are metric too.

No, Internet service is not required. However, you won't be able to access the Smart-TV options on this television without a wireless connection.

For the purposes of a television otherwise, however - use of a cable/satellite box, Blu-Ray player or gaming devices, this will work just like any other television set.

Models sold in the United States would not be compatible with regions that support the PAL standard. PAL runs in 50Hz mode, and NTSC is 60Hz. There may be converters, but you would have to purchase one for every device you connect.

It'd be better to purchase a model in the region where it will be used, since it will have been designed to work in that specific region.

No, the VG-STC3000 is only compatible with 2012 LED-EH6030, EH6070, ES6500 and above models.

I wish we had a better answer, but that's the limitation of the television.
