it is about four hours. i have not drained the battery, but i have used it with out the power adapter. it has a good battery life.

Trade in a laptop towards another one?
Well I was wondering would I be able to go to a local best buy and trade in a laptop towards another one and if so would they take it if the power adapter works but if the battery is burned out and the screens led light is also burned out but the laptop still comes on just not the screen and when you unplug it the laptop shuts off instantly...

it would all depend if the power adapter would fit the model you were trying to trade in to best buy. it might not be the best thing to do. The best thing to do is ask the associate

I'm assuming that the online classes are going to be streamed to the laptop. If that's correct then yes, it will do that fine. The one thing that will have the biggest impact on streaming is your internet speed.
