Does this printer have routing capabilties built in? Or, do you still need a router for it to be wireless?

This HP Printer does have the HP wireless direct printing, which you will not need a router to use this HP Printer wirelessly.

Yes, it can create it's own local wifi... Plus you can even set-up eMail printing. It is so cool.

With as little as two clicks, I'm printing fantastic photos from my iPad/iPhone via wifi!!! :)

Hope you catch it On Sale... I Paid $149.99 yesterday! :)

Yes, and it uses the separate color ink cartridges plus two black ink cartridges... one of the black ink cartridges is used primarily for photos.

If I may, You're gonna love this printer... especially if you have an iPhone... (select photo/document from iPhone/iPad and print via wifi)

Also, send up to 20 Faxes per month FREE via Internet.

I only print in draft mode most of the time, and it prints well in draft mode.

I have not heard any complaints about how this printer prints in Draft mode. This printer needs all ink cartridges installed and in working order.

yes, it does 2 sided printing, after selecting print, go to properties, choose layout tab, print of both sides drop down box

As long as your Dell has one of the operating systems this HP Printer supports, which are: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP (Service Pack 2)* or higher (32-bit only). YOu should not have any problems but I am unable to guarantee compatibility becuase HP does not test or support third party products.

I'm seeking a COLOR LASER Four-in-One MultiFunction Printer. I see the term "Laser/Jet", but neither "Laser" nor "Inkjet". Which is it? Or is it some sort of hybrid? [I followed the 'Tree' Computers&Tablets > printers > All-in-One Laser Printers > Color All-in-One Printers to find the 7520 thus HOPING the 7520 was a laser device.

It's an inkjet. When I was shopping all-in-ones, I had the same problem. Inkjets were listed under laser, and vice verse. So, sorry, no laser here. BTW, I was interested in the HP M275 for a while. It's a laser AIO in the inkjet price range. I just didn't like how it scans (it takes a top-down photograph of your subject. Useful for 3D objects. You might want to check it out, though.

The smaller cartridge is used for photo prints the larger is lower quality ink used for bulk printing plain documents.

The HP Photosmart 7520 uses 564/564XL cartridges. 5 different colors for this cartridge: Photo, Black, Cyan, Magenta & Yellow.
