The Dell 660 (not the 660s) has one open internal HD bay and another for a second CD drive. It also has 3 PCIe and 1 PCI card slots open.

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in the Inspiron 660 desktop! There is room for two hard drives (total) in this desktop. The second hard drive can be mounted next to the first, all you will need is a SATA cable to connect it to the motherboard. Here is a handy link to the Inspiron 660 manual:

Hope this helps!

You can choose a product key finder if Office is still installed on the old PC. Check here - http://pcsupport.about.com/od/productkeysactivation/tp/topkeyfinder.htm

I believe that Office is uploaded to the machine when assembled, purchasing the activation key is how you activate what's already there. Essentially, Office is not on the machine until you pay for it in some way.

Yes, you have several options. The PC has an Ethernet port which is used to connect to either the phone company's DSL modem or if you can get cable, it will connect to the cable company's modem. Cable is preferred since it is much, much faster than DSL. Especially if you already have cable TV. To use the wireless WiFi connection from the PC you will need to purchase a wireless router and the router will connect to the DSL or Cable modem. Your best bet is to talk to your phone and cable companies to to get the details and pricing.

Hello,

DSL modems work the same as cable modems, in the sense that they both connect to computers via an Ethernet cable (or wireless!). This Inspiron 660 has the ability to connect via Ethernet and/or wireless too, so I see no problem connecting this to your home DSL modem.

Hope this helps!

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in the Inspiron 660 desktop. Yes, this computer comes with four USB 3.0 ports as well as four USB 2.0 ports, for a total of eight USB ports. I am not sure why the picture is representing them that way, but I can assure you that the computer does come with USB 3.0!

Hope this helps!
