Can a water filter be used on this refrigerator so ice will taste better?
Our ice maker puts out ice cubes that have a " plastic" taste and smell, but our water itself does not taste that way.Can we use a filter on this model?

yes you can install a in-line universal filter on any water line

Unfortunately, this model does not have a water filter for the ice-maker. Some of our other models with the water and ice-maker thru-the-door recommend that the first 20 or 30 cubes of ice are discarded as a priming process.

well the door is going to stick out at least a inch + handles, if you have a wall on one side the door will hit it its flush, with the width at least 33 1/2 or even 3/4

Issues regarding service for failing refrigerators
In reading some of the reviews for this unit, all of the negative reviews indicate issues with the motherboard going out and the inability to get parts right away to fix these refrigerators. Can you please explain if there is a flaw in the design of the motherboards. Also, what is the percentage of occurrences of motherboards malfunctioning?
