No, we reinstalled our old one. A kick panel is necessary. Ask whoever you buy it from.

2. Finish powerball tablets

4. Method smarty dish

I use #2 and do not pre rinse and my dishes come out clean

Please use only detergent intended for automatic dishwashers. Incorrect detergent may cause the dishwasher to fill with suds during operation. Excess suds may reduce wash performance and may cause the unit to leak. DO NOT use hand dishwashing detergent in this dishwasher.

I'm not sure if LG uses wood panel for there appliancs any more, I would contact LG themselves.
