An antenna (standard co-ax rabbit ears) is necessary, but the television has a digital tuner built-in for Over-The-Air transmissions.

Why on the 32 inch Samsung,1080P, does the mute button appear on the screen and continue
to jump around? This is very upsetting. Would like to hear back from you.

Thank you.

Buddy,

The "Mute" button should only appear when you enable the mute function. We can't tell based on what you posted, but if it's appearing on its own - randomly or by itself, please reach out to the Best Buy Geek Squad Agents in your area or call the Samsung customer service center.

The icon moves around because static (unmoving) images can - over long periods of time - burn into the panel and create a permanent shadow.

If we can help further, please reach out and let us know how we can help.
