Possibly, all drives are different. It could have a different indicator light for read and write which would make that perfectly normal. I'd think that as long as you see the drive in explorer and the full available capacity is indicated you should have a problem. You can always reformat the drive and check for errors if needed as well.

This is a broad question considering the variables. The storage space depends mainly on the quality/size of your media. Using an average 8 megapixel (8MP) setting on your camera will give you about 16,000 pictures on the Cruzer 32GB Flash. Movies can vary a lot depending on the movie length. But a safe bet would be about 30-35 movies.

answer 5
It depends on the quality (number of megapixels) of the photos, but it can hold from 4000 to almost 23,000 pictures. If you want to save songs, movies and photos, it is said to be able to hold (according to the SanDisk website)
1000 photos, and 2000 songs, and 8GB of office files, and 80 mins of video. If you only save photos and videos, it will obviously hold more of them..

Depends on the size of the files and compression used. A good ripper can make 1080p blue ray MPG4 files under 2 GB. and a big 12MP jpeg is about 2MB so do the math. 10 movies and 100 photos with room to spare.

The package doesn't come with a ring, but there is a hole through the back corner so it looks like you could put a thin ring on it and hook it to your key ring.

No. It does not have a ring to hook up to key ring. It may be a bit bulky for some key ring. There are some smaller ones more suitable for key ring but those are more expensive than this one.

That is an excellent question. TOO BAD that it is a year and a half old. However, the picture of the product does need changed. It is outdated because the product that I have does have a loop at the top to be able to hook on a key chain or whatever else you need to safely secure the drive. :)

This disk has a small notch in the back, with a bar extending across the middle of the notch. It seems like it would be difficult to thread anything other than a string through the area.

my MP3 player can only handle up to a 32GB, if I use a larger size, it won't work.
try to find out what is the maximum size flash drive you can use with your make/model Blu Ray player.

It is likely an issue with the BluRay player not being able to recognize the device because of its capacity. Older players especially will detect a peak size of 16gb

Your blu-ray player is the issue. Depending on how old it is, it probably has a capability issue with flash drives of large capabilities, I'd try a 16gb and see if you have the same problem. You might be able to find something in your blu-ray player specs too.

We apologize for the inconvenience which is caused to you, we would like to inform that there a certian capacity uptill which, you can use an USB device on most of the deivces as higher capacity devices needs more power to work. May be in this samsung blu ray player it do not support a 32GB capacity drive. So we request you to contact the manufacturer of the device for more information.

I am not 100% certain, but I checked this question out last year. U3 technology was discontinued by SanDisk a year or two ago. Never quite certain why; I always deleted it from all of the flash drives I bought that had it. I was always annoyed at how slowly the drive mounted and the popups when the drive was inserted.

U3 Technology is at End Of Life and SanDisk began phasing out support for U3 Technology in late 2009. U3 was originally developed to enable downloading portable applications to run from flash drives without installing on a computer. The U3 applications are no longer available to download. There is currently no SanDisk flash drive in production with U3 on it however we do have some models in stock which supports U3.

I purchased this flash drive and saw the 'U3 Enabled' in the advertisement. This appears to be incorrect as 'U3' is NOT indicated on the body of the flash drive. If the 'U3 Capability' is not indicated right on the body or case, U3 will not install.
