Question

Which Samsung LinkStick Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter works with Model BD-C5500 (Model Code BD-C5500/XAA)

If the graphic on the Best Buy website is accurate then the Samsung LinkStick Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter (Model WIS09ABGNX ) will not work with the Samsung Blu-Ray Disc/DVD Player, Model BD-C5500 (Model Code BD-C5500/XAA). When will a wireless adpater for this model be available as this model is already being sold in stores? The Samsung USB port on the back of this model accepts a standard USB connection and not the post connection illustrated in the graphic for the LinkStick (Model WIS09ABGNX).

I'm sorry for the confusion, however the WIS09ABGNX should be compatible with the BD-C5500. As stated in the BD-C5500's manual, "Use only the optional Samsung wireless LAN adapter with this player. (Model name: WIS09ABGN)." The WIS09ABGNX (the added "X" indicates its a Best Buy product) unit sold here at Best Buy should work with out an issue.

Unfortunately, I, nor Samsung, can guarantee that the Linkstick will be compatible with the Apple Airport. Technically if the Airport uses the WiFi standards as many other non-apple units do, there should be no issue with connection. If you are having issues with connection, it would be best to contact either your local Best Buy's Geek Squad or contact Apple service for further assistance. Secondly, currently none of the 2009 "B" model TVs will have access to Netflix direct streaming. That said, in order to access Netflix on your "B" TV, you will need a Samsung Blu-Ray player with Netflix accessibility.

Absolutely! This Samsung Linkstick will work with and allow your B750 to access its internet content through the Yahoo! widget engine (the Yahoo! widget engine is built into your TV. The Linkstick does not "give" features to the TV, it only facilitates a wireless internet connection -through a wifi router- to allow the TV to gather internet content) .

As a matter of fact, since the B6000 offers Infolink, you should be able to use the Samsung Linkstick to accept RSS content wirelessly. Unfortunately, the Linkstick does not add other wireless features to your TV if the TV doesn't already offer the features. That said, none of the 2009 "B" series TVs offer Netflix direct streaming.

I'm sorry you are having an issue with your Linkstick, however, all of the linksticks should be able to connect to all standard wifi routers with ABGN modes. That said, with the information you have provided I do not have a solution for you. Please contact your local Best Buy's Geek Squad for further assistance.

If you have an internet ready Samsung TV, then you will be able to use the Linkstick to access its internet content. However, the Samsung Linkstick is only compatible with other Samsung internet connected products. The Linkstick will not work with other manufacturer's devices and it can not share an internet connection with other devices since there is no physical way to do so (HDMI 1.3 does not allow for ethernet sharing).

The Samsung Linkstick is only designed to work with the Samsung products (TVs, BD players, HTIBs). The Linkstick will not work with other 3rd party devices.
