Questions & Answers for Samsung - LinkStick Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter

Question

How does this tool allow for streaming of mp3's from a computer on the wireless network?

I have a Samsung Model: BD-P1600 with a TrendNet wireless adapter and am able to stream Netflix currently, but no ability to get MP3's off a networked computer.

How does this adapter now give the ability to do this?

The adaptor merely gets you connectivity with a WiFi network, it in and of itself does nothing more than that but it does that well.

The only way the BD-P1600 will stream music is from Pandora. Now it can play MP3 discs directly, but not stream MP3 files from another computer on your network.

If you have two Samsung components, yes you will need two InfoLINK adaptors. The InfoLINK connectivity is not passed through to any other components via other connections between interconnected devices.

Regrettably, from the information I have available to me, it does not seem as that the WIS09ABGNX is compatible with the P2550.

All the Samsung Linksticks are for use with Samsung Home Entertainment products only. They unfortunately will not work with a computer due to the different hardware and software architecture used.
