If bought at Best Buy you have 14 days to return. I prefer the S4, I would already be purchasing a protection plan for my phone so to get a phone that is resistant to particular things does not make sense.

answer 2
the active is water and dust resistant the regular s4 is not
the active is slightly larger and weighs more than the regular s4
the active has a conventional TFT display (more natural colors) the regular s4 uses Super Amoled ( more vibrant and saturated colors )
the two phones use difference cases for protection
ATT's return policy is 14 days from date of purchase or date shipped if ordered online they charge a restocking fee up to $35

The Active is more resistant.

The return policy from AT&T would be best addressed by them.

Thanks for your interest in Samsung products.

It's been my experience with AT&T that if you own a phone, all you have to do is call them and have them give you the unlock code for your phone. Not sure if they have unlock codes for this model yet, but probably do. I had to unlock my son's X One, and they gave me the code with no problems or questions.

After multiple calls and multiple attempts. Verizon told me they are "negotiating" the contract with Samsung....Meaning Never. I was told you can purchase a full price phone that is carrier unlocked and hook it up to the Verizon Network. But who wants to kill $700?

Yes- the S4 Active takes it's own size case. I personally would recommend the Otter Box Defender Series.

Yes unfortunately this true. I would think the reason of this would be because of the S4 Active size.

Question

Is water damage voided when taken the store for replacement or to be repaired?

Many cellphone carriers void out the warranty when there is water damage, so being that it's a water resistant phone does that mean the warranty is voided if there is water damage if taken in for repair or replacement?

ATT and Samsung are both offering a warranty for any water damage to that specific phone if it does happen.
