If you are a Reward Zone Member, you can print the receipt from the website to your printer.

Also, electronic purchases will fall under store policy on returns.
Hope this helps.

Per our return policy: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Help-Topics/Returning-Online-Purchases/pcmcat260800050014.c?id=pcmcat260800050014, "the original receipt, gift receipt or packing slip is required for all returns and exchanges. When looking at bargain basement products at rock bottom prices, they are assuming you don't really care about details involving quality. If you're not an audiophile, these work fine for outputting basic computer sounds and music.

It's the driver for your sound card you'd need to reinstall. Nothing about the speakers. Identify the brand and model of your sound card and download the driver from the company's website. Your sound card may also be integrated with the motherboard, then you'd most likely download the driver from your computer's brand website.

These speakers do not require a sound driver. You simply plug then into the headphone jack of you computer and turn them on with the external power supply hooked up, and turn up the volume.

If that doesn't work, then right click on the speaker icon on the task bar of your PC and make sure the speaker volume on your system is not muted or turned down too low.

On the back of one of the speakers, there should be an AC plug. Close to that plug should be a diagram which would show whether inside pin or casing is positive of negative. Should also state wattage on a sticker on the unit.

Did you plug the USB to a powered USB???

Copy/paste from another story:
As long as your computer or TV has:
1. A 3.5 mm audio jack (the common variety)
2. A POWERED USB port
...then the pair IS compatible.

How to check if your USB is POWERED: Plug your cell phone in it. If it charges it, then it is powered. If it does not, then it ain't!

I don't know about a volume light. There is a power light that is supposed to go on when you turn on the power. If yours doesn't work you are lucky. The light is so bright it hurts your eyes. You can tell when the power button is on because it's pushed in. It pops out when you turn it off.

answer 6
Press the power button on the right speaker. When your speaker system is
turned on, the power LED lights blue.
• Make sure that the power cord is connected to a power outlet.
• Test the power outlet to make sure that it is supplying power.
• Make sure that you have connected the speakers correctly. For more information,
see “Setting up your speaker system” on page 1 of this Quick Setup Guide.
• Make sure that the sound is not muted or the volume is not set too low on the
audio device you connected to.
• Try connecting your speaker system to another audio device. If your speaker
system produces sound, the problem is with the audio device you connected to.

If you are still encountering issues after trying these steps, then I would recommend bringing your product, along with the receipt, back to the place of purchase for warranty replacement options.
