Question

LeapFrog-dot-com will not let me buy applications for the Ultra XDi, why?

I have added a number of apps to my shopping cart but at checkout it states that none of the Apps will work on my selected Ultra XDi, but each individual App says it will. Subsequently, I cannot checkout. Why? And I cannot find individual Apps here on EBay for my granddaughters Ultra XDi, very disappointing, as she is asking for more.

The Ultra XDi, even though it looks awesome and is what I originally bought too, is an abandoned product. Nobody wants to support it anymore including the maker.

We ended up having to get the Epic tablet and honestly, even thought it was a huge hassle to figure all this out, the Epic is a wonderful tablet and we are very happy with it. So is baby :)

There are some apps on the device already, such as music, painting, picture editing, an animal game, can't remember what else, and ours came with a choice of one free app with 3 options (game, book and something else I can't remember).

I was unable to do it; I did manage to put on the Ultra a couple of free MP3s of kids' songs to the Ultra through Leapfrog Connect but it was rather difficult and took some figuring out. My understanding is that this is intentional so that the little ones can't download or get to anything you wouldn't want them to have. You can take video with the device itself though.

No, it does not let you do unfiltered video watching. It has a controlled environment for video and I saw some YouTube videos on it but these were preselected ones of funny cats, etc., so it's not going to let you go to just plain YouTube from there.

LeapSearch, powered by Zui, includes over 1,000 hand-selected fun and engaging pieces of content, including videos, images, games and web pages, that are 100% kid-appropriate. Every content experience your child will encounter with LeapPad has been approved by LeapFrog’s team of learning experts, so parents don’t have to set filters or search amongst a sea of content and guess which is appropriate. We do the rigorous work, so you don’t have to.

Question

Do you sell software in Spanish (or can you reconfigure for Spanish)?

Am planning to buy this as a present for a 4 year-old in South America who doesn't speak English. I know you can reconfigure laptops but not sure about these kid's tablets. He also wants to learn English so some English instruction from the Spanish would be helpful as well...
