Insignia codes for your Sony remote control should be included in the remote's owner's manual. If there are no codes listed or they do not work, you may use the universal remote's scan or learning feature to find a working code. Remember: universal remote controls may not be compatible with all products.

You do not have to purchase an HDMI cable to use your Xbox. However, in order to receive HD quality you must connect this using the component cable for the Xbox (the Green, Blue, and Red cables), or an HDMI cable.

You are not required to have an HDMI cable to play the xbox, but if you want picture quality to be the best then you can go buy one and connect it. The xbox doesn't come with an HDMI cable either.

Connection methods may vary depending on available ports on both products. Without more information, I recommend following the instructions in your TV and/or surround sound owner's manuals to properly connect your home theater audio system. If needed, the TV owner's manual can be downloaded at http://www.dynexproducts.com/produc...

You can cycle through the aspect ratio options by pushing the ZOOM button on your remote control. Alternatively, you can update the output settings on your cable/satellite box to 16:9 pillarbox for best results in displaying programming in native aspect ratio.

Question

I have a 32" LCD TV serial # DX-32l151All

TV was moved from one bedroom to another bedroom, connected it to Cable One, as it was in the first bedroom. I can't get the TV to turn on, completely dead...hv checked every cable to make sure they are in correctly and even changed the batteries in the remote. I have tried to turn the TV on manually....nothing seems to work. TV had been working famously until I moved it.

It sounds like the TV is getting no power. Have you verified that the TV is plugged in with connection firmly seated, that the power strip is turned on, or the socket -- if keyed to a wall switch -- is turned on? Also, try the TV in a different room to verify whether the TV is at fault. If the problem persists and is verified to be the TV, repairs may be required. Service can be obtained by carrying the TV in to the place of purchase. Remember to bring along your sales receipt for warranty validation.
