Q:
I am currently trying to determine the best digital camera to purchase.
I have used SLR cameras, Nikon and Minolta, for years in the past.
When we purchased our first digital camera some years ago, I bought an Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom which my wife and I have not been pleased with. Mainly the hesitation in the shutter button when taking a picture, and I found it difficult to change shutter speed or apeture. We often have trouble because of that being able to take a picture that isn't blurred. I also like to enlarge pictures, and the 3.5 MP really makes enlargements grainy.
Overall, not happy.
My wife really needs a point and shoot camera, but I am more inclined to a camera with which I can have more control of the picture environment including changing lens, and shutter speed, etc.
Please give me some advice on which of the above would best suit our needs.
I am more inclined to one of the Coolpix for my wife's sake, but don't want to be "dissatisified" again after spending ANY money...... HELP !!!!! please.
