Satellite reception is in fact a stronger signal. If you are worried about reception in your building, I suggest you listen to Sirius on your computer, live from the Sirius/XM webpage. Hopes this helps!
Can not link though blue tooth. Its auxiliary cord plugs in. You can bluetooth the sirius phone app through Ford Sync. Mounting pics are in the directions. On the dash or clipped on vents.
I have the music only program, so no news or sports. The bottom text or third row is the song title. It will scroll the title while the music plays. Thats the only scrolling I've seen.
You won't automatically get a reduced bill for adding an in-home radio, BUT if you call and ask, they MAY offer you a $5 per month fee for the first YEAR (which is a GREAT savings compared to the regular nearly $15 per month) for activating a new radio.
If you have a 12VDC Source, an amplifier of some sort (radio with external input), speakers, and a place to put your satellite antenna, your good to go.
I have used it in my John Deere Gator. Just need a power source. I have a cigarette plug in my Gator. I use my Bluetooth speaker that has a audio input jack.
They are compatible with any vehicle. All you do is plug the power cord in to the cars power outlet, place the SiriusXM antenna in clear view of the sky, and call SiriusXM to activate your radio.
