1. Yes, you can expand the RAM to 8GB on this machine. It is only a single port, so the 4GB chip would be replaced with a single 8GB. 2. Not entirely sure, but there is a good chance that you can ask Best Buy - Geek Squad to upgrade it for you.
Check the specs on the game. This is a 4th generation i3 processor with 4 gig of RAM. The harddrive is 128gig solid state - very fast response times. I don't know why this would not work.

Verify Specs 2-in-1 is equipped with a 128GB SSD and 500GB HDD hard drives? (2) 3 Cell Batteries? Windows 8.1 upgrade available and 365 office? Will system run all Windows Apps?
13-m110dx model has a 128GB SSD - no HDD. I use a WD 1TB external USB 3.0 Passport drive for backup and storage of my working & archive files. Upgrades to 8.1 over the Windows Update Internet site - at no charge.
Just the 128 GB SS. I am running office 365 on mine - I already had the 5 pc license and it wasn't included in the purchase of the X2. It has run any Windows app/software that I've tried so far. I've upgraded the Windows version to 8.1. It does have 2 batteries (one in the tablet one in the keyboard). Not sure of the specs on the batteries.
This HP PC has a 128GB SSD and that is the only hard drive ships with this HP PC, has a 3-cell battery and does not come standard with the Microsoft Office Software. I recommend contacting HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 24hrs a day 7days a week for the upgrade to operating system.
I can see their specifications difference, but what a 13 inch tablet be too cumbersome? Is the smaller one with the smaller price worth missing out on the specs of this one. What do you guys think?

The screen size will be a choice based on personal preference. I like the larger screen. When you disconnect the screen to use it as a tablet, it is no more cumbersome than an iPad, which is smaller. I considered a smaller tablet, but when I saw this one, I was immediately sold on it.
