Wireless canon printer in upstairs bedroom and laptop downstairs. Seems to take a log time to print from laptop or tablet. Could this help speed up printing? Printer is also hard wired to main desktop next to it.

I need to extend the range of my Arlo security cameras is this what I need? And do I plug the Arlo base in to the Extender? It is now plugged into my router (via. Ethernet heard wire).

You're correct. The Arlo base would connect to this extender through the Ethernet jack it provides. The extender will then connect to your router wirelessly.

I bought the Powerline WiFi PLW 1000 access point and PL 1000 adapter (or vice-versa). I don't know if the access point is PLW1000 or PL1000. I want to buy a 2nd adapter but it seems Netgear does not sell the adapter without the access point.

The access point is the router, the extender would be the other, but the password access would be thw same as the router / access point..
