The case allows for full operation of camera. There is a rubber cover that goes over the lens to protect it. It can be opened to allow for use of the camera then closed after use.
The Survivor case has strong rubber flaps that cover the camera lens on one side and it can be lifted and tucked into a slot made to hold it while you take photos. When you are done, you simply replace the protective flap back in place. The front or screen facing camera is protected by a clear lens that also protects the ear piece.
I would say water resistant. I spilled my soda on it once and nothing touched the galaxy tab. I wiped it off immediately and used a baby wipe to get rid of the sticky ness
Survivor for Galaxy Tab is water-resistant, but not water proof. What that means is that it can protect your iPad from rain, or from a small splash of water, but it shouldn't be submerged. ^Mike
Survivor All-Terrain for Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is not compatible with the Galaxy Tab 3 lite. Unfortunately, we don't have a case that's compatible with that tablet at this time. Sorry!
The dimensions are the same but this does not mean that they are interchangeable, the products could differ in other ways. Order the product that specifically mentions your device.
