If you are using a ps4, each controller has a headphone jack you can use for sound. As far as surround sound headsets, you'd have to create a new user for the second headset but it should work. Hope that helps
yes, if you made sure both usb dongles were plugged in. you would have to select it in the settings for the computer though which would be different for each OS.

It's better if you get insurance for them. I've had three headsets already the last two broke if one side but the first didn't have insurance so I had to buy a second one with the insurance and when the second one broke Best Buy replaced it.
They were decent, I watched Netflix with these headphones. These boast 7.1 "virtual sound" so when there are action scenes it would make you enjoy the movie better. However I owned a pair of triton ax pro's which are true 5.1 Dolby and had a mixer (control the sound) and they were allot better. They were also twice the price.
