It does not say how this charges the Tablet? It doesn't come with an A/C adapter? Does the Tablet A/C adapter fit the Cradle?

The AC adapter that comes with your Tablet connects directly to the base of the cradle, making it easy to dock and charge. if you wish to go on a trip its easy to remove the AC adapter from the base and take the adapter and tablet with you when on the go charging is necessary,

Will the charging dock allow you HDMI connectivity also, is the firmware upgradable?

CORRECTION : the connection is not HDMI it is micro USB sorry webgirl! but you can access the micro usb port just under the headphones jack while it is docked.
