You should be able to take the SD card out of the camera and plug it into your iMac's SD card slot. Photos should recognize the photos and videos and move them to your iMac.
The cable that comes with iPad can be used to connect directly to a Mac. The necessary software is iTunes, which I'm quite certain is already on every Mac that is made.
Turn on the camera, then click on "menu". There are 2 tabs at the top, one a camera the other tools. Scroll down (clicking the bottom of the circle) until you come to "date". Click on the right of the circle until you come to the selection you want.
I have looked all over the camera and have no idea where to attach the wrist strap. The instruction booklet does not show any pictures or mention anything about it. I am at a loss for this. Any info from you would be greatly apprciated
This was not as obvious to me either. Lift up the flap on the right of the camera where the cord connections are hidden. In the middle is a little bar which the wrist strap slides under.
You can take as long of a video as your ST card has room to store it depends on the quality of the video that you are recording and the size of your card
I believe my cord came with the camera. I know the previous canon versions came with the cord, so I can't say for sure if I use an old cord or new one.
There is not an interface cable included, I just happened to have one from a previous camera. Sorry I don't know the part number, but it is a standard cable, just take the camera with you when you go to pick one up.
Hi just wondering how quickly this camera turns on. For example if you're on a bus and see something as you drive buy, will it turn on right quick when you press power button? Also does the video feature stay in focus when you zoom in while recording or does it just get blurry? Thanks video very important to me
The camera can turn on very quickly. Just hit the button twice on the back of the phone, and it opens up directly with the camera app and snaps the picture.
As for video, yes it does stay in focus when one zooms in.
My camera turns on within 2 seconds. I carry it in my pocket or purse to capture interesting views. I don't use it for video, so cannot answer that question.
Facebook - yes when you sync it will create a folder for the pictures it sends you can control who sees them and even add comments. Also when posting to facebook you can send single pictures or a group of them. In the book it says you can also share to Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and Google Drive. I only use it to post to faceboom so can't comment about the others
