No. That's a lip sync issue. There's usually delays you can mess with in settings to try and fix this. Try the Blu-ray player settings first. Adding or subtracting milliseconds at a time you should be able to compensate for the delay.
A calibration is useful for providing a factory standard image, including adjusting sharpness, tint, contrast, and overall color to match the Industry standard for Theater. Yes, it should help unless the TV has another issue.
You will have to negotiate this at the time of purchase. Best Buy usually includes standard delivery and setup, but calibration is separate. Try and negotiate it all at the time of purchase. The last I checked Best Buy separate prices for delivery and set up is $70 and Calibration is $250
It can be included if you purchase *total assurance*, this saves money by bundling, otherwise they are separate. on the other hand you do still save money by doing all at one time.
yes, with the old total tech service, this service was $49.99 now its 199.99. you have to go into a store to schedule one. I think its a joke how they changed the price for totaltech members. I'm canceling mine.
I just purchased the LG 65 C7. It was worth every penny. You have a great tv...go for it...you won't be sorry. I just posted my calibration review today. Oct 13th.
Hi Jerami - Geek Squad does have the equipment necessary to calibrate UHD TVs. Rec 2020 is a broader color space and the standard for UHD (4K) TV’s that it should be calibrated to.
Bought a smart tv top of the line , self calibration should be a feature when spending a ton of money for latest technologies. Explain to my why this 4k tv has to be manually calibrated ?
My experience has been that tv's come out of the box looking just ok. I've had good luck using Google for "recommend picture settings for (tv model)" there's good info out there
As far as I know you can. They will calibrate any TV you wish. It's just one of their services. I have had them do this on a couple of my TV's and this really makes the TV look great.
Yes. You can use this service even if you didn't buy your tv from Best Buy. I've used the Geek Squad tv calibration service twice. 1st time on a BB tv, second time on a tv purchased from another company. I will use BB Geek Squad again if I purchase another tv. I will say it takes a couple days to get accustomed to seeing the colors on the tv like they are meant to be.
The answer lies in your personal opinion. Yes, Geek Squad calibration will help with overall color accuracy and picture quality. BUT, it also depends on a) if you can tell the difference with your personal eyesight, b) if you want to spend an additional dollar. Calibrating almost any TV will make the picture look better. I have my 2 tvs calibrated and they are not as fancy as your x910.
