Hi Roy, please refer to pg.2 of the link below to know more about the power requirements of this unit. It can play MP3 (except for mp3PRO), WMA(except for WMA Pro), AAC, LPCM,WAVE. However, it doesn't support MP4 format. Thanks! ^Ron
Hi Stanton, We are sorry to hear this issue. You may try to power reset your DVD player and see if this will fix the issue. Unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet and all connected devices to the player. Wait for at least 1 minute before plugging back everything. Make sure to plug in the power cord in a working wall outlet. Turn it on and test the player. Regards, Vincent
