I don't have wifi at my house and my phone is not a hotspot. Can I use this device to mirror my phone (including internet) onto my tv?by

Does your phone have wifi direct and screen mirroring? Look in your settings under connections and see if you have settings that use wifi direct and all share cast or screen mirroring. If you do it will work. I don't have wifi at home. My phone connects to the hub by using wifi direct and screen mirroring software. I can still use my moble data. Every thing works the same on my phone and what I see on my phone's screen is sent to my tv. Which is a sony so you don't need a Samsung tv either . Your TV needs to be DLNA capable.Images for this Answer

I'm not sure on this. I believe that the connection between the phone and the Allshare Cast is independent of any WIFI, so it should work.by

You didn't post the model of your phone, I would suggest calling Samsung tech support with this question.If your phone supports the allshare then the phone actually connects directly to the device with out a wifi hotspotif you don't have wifi at your home then you will only be able to share what's on your phone with your TV.

If you don't have wifi, you'd have to rely on your 3g/4g phone connection to stream the movies which could rapidly use up your G's if you have a limited amount. Otherwise, the only way you'll be able to use the hub is at a location w/wifi. Since I don't have experience with 3g/4g streaming to the Hub, I'd advise you to take a look online to see if there are any lag issues (video/audio) between phones and the Hub.by

Apple tv will work perfect with iphones. Does the exact same thing as the Samsung all share cast hub but made for ios. You can find it on the apple store or best buy.Products from my answer

As far as I can see, this only works with Samsung items, such as Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S 4, Galaxy S 4 Active, Galaxy S 4 Zoom, Galaxy Note 10.1”, Galaxy Note 8”, Galaxy Tab 3 8”, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Mega, Galaxy S 5 and Galaxy Note 4.by

This device is made for Samsung phones, and the phone has to interface with this product. As far as working with any Apple product, I would say not! But as far as Apple products are concerned, I would think most would connect through the USB, or I think it's called lightning connector, to a th through an adapter and cable set up.9 years, 7 months ago

This product works with certain Samsung phones and would not be compatible with your Verizon iPhone 4S.If you would like to mirror your iPhone's screen onto your television, I'd recommend purchasing an Apple TV.

I have a note 3 and it works. I have seen others use the hub with a Samsung Galaxy s3. You can try looking on you tube to see if someone posted a reveiw using the s4. Do a search for allshare cast hub with s4. I did this to see if the hub worked for my note 3 and found videos posted. But if your phone has wifi direct and screen mirroring capabilities it should work. This is how my phone connects to the hub.by

I have a note 3 and the allshare cast hub. I had to press the reset button on the hub plus update allshare cast software on my phone and turned on screen mirroring as well as s beam. Then it connected. I don't know why s beam worked then now i only turn on screen mirroring. However after it connects its going to update the firmware on the hub and after this I did not have sound. What I did to fix this is go to my app manager in settings on my phone. Found the all share cast app and uninstalled updates and then I went to Google play and reinstalled the updates. Now it works perfect and connects right away with only turning on the screen mirroring.by

Yes, I have the Note 3 and connection initially was difficult. Try holding down on the connection from the phone and manually connect with the PIN that is shown. Once you do this, future connections should be seamless.by

I had the same problem at first with my phone connecting. I had to download an update from Googleplay before I was able to get the two to talk to eachother. Keep trying they will talk.. once they connect the first time you shouldn't have any more problems any more the will hook right up from then on.9 years, 7 months ago
