I you use a subwoofer with dual voice coils, for example, that are rated at 2 ohms each coil, you can connect them in parallel (+ lead to + lead, and - lead to - lead) to create a 1 ohm load. Likewise, if you have 2 subwoofers with dual voice coils that are rated at 4 ohms each coil, you can connect all four together in parallel to create a 1 ohm load. When you connect 2 coils in parallel, that effectively cuts the load in half. This amp is 1 ohm stable, so you can set it up for 1 ohm load and get the most out of it!
