No, this drive is intended for a full-sized computer rather than a laptop and will almost certainly not fit a laptop.

No, it will not -- your laptop requires a 2.5" internal notebook hard drive and cannot accommodate larger drives intended for desktops.

stands for Serial ATA, 3TB means 64 Cache Buffer.
The larger the drive the faster the Cache Buffer.

I have 4 of them. Yes, will work to replace virtually any SATA drive. A simple setting change in BIOS is required, and few tweaks in Windows recommended. It will increase computer speed 2x - 3x over a 7200 RM drive!
