This unit will cool mulitple rooms, however some of the main factors on how effectively it will work is the air circulation (ceiling fans) and the size of the doors that will allow the air to travel effectively between the three rooms.

Yes, this air conditioner gives you three different options:
1) Exhaust option - air is vented from the inside to the outside of the room.
2) Fresh air setting - you can choose to bring in fresh air from the outside to cool the room.
3) Closed position - air is only recirculated from within the room.

When installed according the supplied instructions, the FRA155MT1 does not require additional brackets. However, brackets are available separately if desired. Please consult your sales consultant for how to order the appropriate brackets for your unit.

This unit comes with an LCDI plug which continually checks for any damage to the electrical wiring within the unit. As long as the unit was not damaged during the outage, the FRA155MT1 will restart at the pre-outage settings once power is restored.

This model runs at 56 decibels on the low end, which would be equivalent to the sound of a coffee pot brewing, and 61 decibels on the high end, which would sound similar to the tone of a normal conversation.

Both models have the same performance specifications as a 15,000Btu Air Conditioner. There are some minor cosmetic differences between the two and the FRA155MT1 also comes equipped with a clean air ionizer. Both units will cool a similar sized space with the same efficiency and speed.

FRA155MT1 is a window unit and we recommend installation in a window for optimal performance and it requires ventilation on both the sides and the back of the unit. For this application, we recommend a Through-the-Wall unit (for example, Frigidaire model # FRA144HT2). Please consult your local retailer for options.
