Even Though Photos Of This Adapter Show All 7 Different Adapter Tips Having 2 Pins, They All Actually Have 3-Pins NOT The Standard 2-Pin Design. This Is Deceiving! So If You Need This AC Adapter For Converting I.E. Your Battery (DC) Powered Camera To Run On AC (household) Current. AND YOUR CAMERA NEEDS THE INSIDE OF THE ADAPTER TIP TO BE NEGITIVE POLARITY, You Can't Use This Adapter Because The Inside Of All The Tips Are Set To The Standard Inside POSITIVE Outside NEGITIVE. AND You Can't Change Polarity!! However, You Can Clip Off Pin #3 With A Pair Of Cutters. #3 Pin Is A Ground Pin. After Cutting Off #3 Pin Just Plug The 2 Pin Tip In The OpPositiveite Direction. This Switches The Inside Of The Tip From POSITIVE Polarity to NEGITIVE Polarity. This Is How All The Standard 2 Pin Design Adapters Work Anyway.
NOTE: Cutting #3 Pin (Ground Pin) Means The Adapter Connection Would ONLY Be Grounded If The Wall Socket You Have The Adapter Plugged Into Is Grounded. BUT Good News! Wall Sockets In Homes ARE Grounded (unless your home was built in early 1900's). So Cutting The #3 Ground Pin Wouldn't Hurt The Camera or What Ever Device You Use With The Adapter BUT Make Sure Your Wall Sockets Are Grounded...#3 Pin Is The Middle Pin.
