When you turn caps on you will see a box with a capital A inside it displayed on the digital screen at the top of the keyboard. I have this keyboard and mouse at home and work and we do not use the cord.
It should plug and play. Make sure to pull the battery strips and that the devices are turned on. Once i did that and made sure the receiver was plugged into a USB port it came up immediately.
Hello, Wiz! The MK710 is plug and play. The USB receiver should be in the bottom of the keyboard or the bottom of the mouse. Then all you have to do is plug the USB receiver into an open USB port on your computer and turn on your mouse and keyboard!
