I have owned 5 of these, and while the quality of the current production is not as robust as the original, they have all worked great on 4 different Win10 desktops/laptops. I just plug in the USB receiver and in a minute, it is operational with no configuration required on my part. Only one has failed, after it fell to the floor one too many times, and that was after 4 plus years of heavy use. Unless, you have a need for more buttons / control in a mouse, it is my opinion that the M510 is the go-to mouse in the Logitech line, and you shouldn't pay more for anything else. And the cheaper Logitech mice that I tried and returned are noticeably inferior in usability / quality.
