Great gadget

It's a really great product, but I can't seem to get the hang of this one yet! If I set the temperature manually it gradually increases the temp to its highest point then brings it down to where I set it. It's rather pointless to do this since the a/c beeps every time when it does this. It's kind of annoying.

Might be good for a smaller room

My room is 200sq ft. But it has a tall celing. During the day it would keep the temp at about 84 degrees F. With an outside temp of 93 and 70 % humidity. For the RGV summer heat 100+ temperatures I don't think it will be able to Handel it. Maybe for a smaller room, but it wasn't good for my room

This gritty crime drama follows Detective Vic Mackey (Michael Chiklis) as he leads a group of detectives known as the Strike Team throughout the crime ridden streets of California. Though is goal of stopping crime at its source is admirable, his methods are anything but on the straight and narrow, and become increasingly corrupt as time goes on. Romantic relationships are equally difficult to navigate; Mackey's marriage falters due to several indiscretions, as well as the stress of paying for the education of a special needs child. Fellow Strike Team member Shane Vendrell's (Walton Goggins) marriage is equally rocky, and motivates Shane to pursuing a course of actions that would shake the team to its very core.

Are there any special requirements for the heating function? I bought a portable air conditioner with heating that needed to be near a drain in order to operate the heater. If I had known that in advance, I wouldn't have purchased the unit.
On the instructions it says the same thing. When heating it needs to constantly drain
