I was looking for a mechanical keyboard with a limited amount of space to work in. This is the perfect fit for me. I don't need the 10 key pad as a use a wireless Kmashi for that function. This gives me the room I need, and the click the keys produce is perfect. Not to mention all the possibilities available with the color schemes and customization possible. A++

Depends on what you consider a back plate. It is quite sturdy and does not have nearly any flex or sax when installed on my motherboard.
But would I call it a "Back plate", No I would not.
I would consider a back plate an optional piece of equipment or maybe standard on a Higher end or enthusiast type card.
