If you are reading this you should already know about this cult classic. If not you should know that this is a movie that successfully combines horror and slapstick comedy. Not a combination that is easy to pull off. Bruce Campbell's defining role as Ash is brilliant. The one liners are some of the best. It has to be watched to be understood.
This version combines all of the various versions of the film into one place. So if you've been waiting to buy one, this is it.

This is still one of my favorites. Full of eye candy, great action, gorgeous sets, and an awesome cast. It's a fun movie with good humor and plenty of action. This movie does not take itself too seriously, and is a blast to watch.
This version comes in a digi-book like package, but the covers and pages are plastic. Overall it's a the best version of the movie yet.

Great for kids. Nice message about the rainforests being destroyed. A bit predictable. Overall it was alright. I'm going to keep it my collection, worth watching at least once, the boy loved it.

This was loaned to me by a co-worker. I had heard a lot of good things about it, but only that it was different. I pay homage to the classic horror movies, but with several unexpected twists. It starts off like typical horror movie, but with a few odd scenes which leave you scratching your head wondering what is going on. By the end it will all make sense, and I even got my horror hating wife to watch after I bought my own copy. Expect, and don't expect, typical fare in this movie, just watch it an you will understand.

One of Nicolas Cage's best films

This was a great movie, worth owning. It had a great cast, and one of Nick Cage's better character portrayals, Face-off was another. It's a fun movie with some great action sequences, and great characters all around. From the convicts, to the law officers, you'll even find yourself routing for some of the bad guys. It is predictable, but I didn't watch this movie expecting Oscar caliber story, I watched it to be entertained, and I was. It's not the destination, it's the journey, how they tell the tale. You know the bad guys lose and the good guys win, how they get there that's the fun part, and this movie was a lot of fun!

I heard all of the hype about this movie, even the song. I bought it when it came out, and was pleasantly surprised, it was not quite as predictable as I expected, I was never quite sure who were all of the heroes/heroines of the story were. It was not what I expected, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. And, of course my boy loved it.
