I had a pair of the original generation of these and loved them! They lasted over 2 years with everyday wear and workouts, which for me is 5 days a week. They broke, which I was not happy about. Since then I tried many replacements, even more expensive ones. I went back to these and have not been disappointed. Great sound and lightweight and compared to some other name brands, fit so much better and secure without slipping during my high intensity workouts, lifting sessions, or long runs. Only gripe is that battery life seems to have dwindled compared to the gen 1. Oh well, all in all they are the best pair out there that combine reliability, durability, sound, fit and finish.

I’m theory a great idea. In actuallity, didn’t work right. Even bought the “recommended” comparable LED band listed on the website for this, alas no dice. Constant flickering even as my wiring was pre-set for a traditional dimming function. The simple non dimming wemo smart switch works fine to far (2 weeks use). Guess I’m stuck spending 30 bucks a bulb to get functioning dimmable lights.

Bought Google Home last year and sunk a lot of $ into smart lights and switches. Can’t imagine not having it now. As we expected, Google came out with these and to add to whole home functionality with voice prompts we added two of these little guys. We’re about 80% complete in refurbishing our small 1400sq ft condo in all “smart” devices. These things help and we’re all too affordable to pass up. For what we ask them to do, spot on. Keep it coming Google!

Nothing to shout about compared to my 6. Alas my last 6 died unexpectedly and had no salvage method. I was holding out for the "8" but had to pull the trigger earlier. Not a huge fan of the updated iOS platform, but it's nothing so drastic I can't live with it. Overall a "meh" improvement from the 6, but at least water damage issues are "almost" a thing of the past.

Replaced a 10 year old Kenmore with this. Happy with it thus far, however pros and cons are as such:
Pros:
1. Smart water gauge that only uses the water necessary based on load size.
2. Actually a ton quieter than our last (albeit old and insignificant) one.

You need to set up the boost as far away from other wifi devices on the same network. This is not easy, but use the full extent of your Ethernet cable and power source options. It will improve the relability and fidelity of the network loop sonos runs on. Multiple sonos boosts are only needed if you are running separate speakers from long distances in large houses or with thick walls like in a basement.
