Should have bought it earlier

I went to Frys to find some movies, but found that there was Bose sound bar on display. I did not pay much attention to the sound bar since I already have small home theater system and OLED C6, which has good internal speaker. But when I pushed the play button for testing, I could tell it was really different, and how poor my small home theater system and C6 internal speaker were. But Bose sound bar is too expensive ($700), so I started the research and got into this one from reviewers link. The original price of this Samsung one is around $500, but this is clearance item with $300 including tax. All reviews were all good, and decided to buy this one.
Once connected to my C6, initially I could not tell the difference much, but when I switched buttons between my existing home theater, internal speakers, and this sound bar, then I could tell the difference. It is REALLY different.
I chose "This is It" bluray and watched it again, it made a really new and totally different experience. This is one good investment, I should have bought it earlier and enjoyed it. Now I can have good picture from OLED TV and wonderful sound from this sound bar. Really happy to have them both.

The story telling is great, and it is really touching that this is is a real story. 4K transfer is great. I have some other 4K with HDR titles, but they were a little disappointing, but this 4K is really showing the sharpness and HDR.

Best TV I have ever had

I already have full HD Samsung 65in TV (UN65F7100AFXZA) at home, but I was stunned when I watched the picture from the latest 4K TV with HDR at Best Buy store. My first choice for 4K TV was not this OLED one: I was looking for 75in 4K TV since I wanted the upgrade from 65in. But while searching the information, I got more information about OLED TV and thought why not if it has the best picture quality from many reviews.
[Pros]
Picture quality: When my friend told me about the light bleeding and I observed the same from my Samsung 1080p 65in TV, I was not disturbed much while watching movies. However, watching movies in OLED with pure black, now I realize why it is so important. Black bars on letter box screen are really black and no distraction. And color volumes are so good. My daughters watch some animation from Netflix, I can tell its pastel tone color is so good. In addition, because of OLED, the picture quality looks same from every angle.

Style: When I bought Samsung 1080p TV for the first time, I was so surprised that how thin it was, but it was nothing compared with this OLED TV. But how thin is not a matter. It has transparent stand. It looks like the whole TV looks floating in the air. Good design.
3D: I chose C6 curved one over B6 because it has 3D feature. I have some 3D bluray titles. And it is passive 3D. My previous Samsung TV has the active 3D. But the 3D glasses itself is pricey and the sync did not work well. But this passive 3D glasses do not need the sync. Avatar 3D looks really wonderful.
WebOS: You can control the TV with Wii remote like controller. Very easy to use and intuitive. It responds very fast. Other smart TV controller uses buttons to move between menus, but you can use this controller with WebOS like a wizard wand.
Good sound: I used the separate sound bar for the old Samsung 1080p TV, but this OLED TV comes with Harman Kardon speaker, and it is good enough without the sound bar. Also it can tune it by itself for the best sound using the magic remote.
4K / HDR: I was not that impressed when I watched 4K movie with this TV for the first time. I was already satisfied with 1080p Samsung TV and its clear picture quality. But after watching two other movies with 4K, when I played the regular bluray, now I realized that I was spoiled. The bluray picture was not clear as before and not vivid nor sharp any more. Should it be "Cons"?
Cons:
Brightness: Samsung SUHD and QLED TV are advertising its brightness and vivid colors. I can tell that OLED TV is not that much brighter than Samsung SUHD and QLED. Especially when they are displayed side by side, it is much obvious. But what I found is that SUHD and QLED TVs are too much bright and washes out some color depth. It would be better if OLED has more nits, but I think it is bright enough for most of contents.

TruMotion: I do not like TruMotion (also similar image interpolation from Samsung TV too). It looks crispy and sharp, but this soap-opera effect looks abnormal and the worst thing is that it makes block images for the fast moving action scenes. I heard Sony X1 processor does better jobs but not sure.
Cable management: All connections are located right hand side from the back panel. Then, when you connect it, it may be shown from the front. Its design is for the case when the TV is on the wall, but I think they are located too much right hand side.
Why C6 2016 model, not new 2017 model :
From every spec, I do not see much improvement in 2017 model. On the other hand 2016 models came with HDR, better burn-in handling, brighter. And 3D. At this moment, I do not see any reason to pay $2000 more for the new 2017 model. Also, for high end, it is usually hooked up with home theater system. The sound of C7 is good enough for the regular contents, but I also use the home theater for the movie itself. Then, no need to pay another $1000/$200 for E6/G6 models, considering that the picture quality and processor are almost identical.
However, I think its price would drop very quickly. If you want OLED TV now, buy 2016 models. If you can wait, then you will get 2017 model with the similar price around Thanksgiving.

Summary: My wife complained a lot when I decided to buy a new TV. Especially I already have 65in 1080p one, and I was going to buy the same size. But this was my correct choice for 4K TV. I am really really satisfied with this TV, and I do not think I can go back to LCD TV. It is worthy what I paid.

Maybe too much I expected

From the trailer and main actors, I maybe have too much expectation on this film. The first part was good, but it was quite boring in the middle and it ended with some coincidence. Compared with Life of Pi, Cast Away, or other films where only one or two main characters are leading the story, the story was filled with just boring events.
My first choice for the newly bought 4K TV, but the story did not come up with its stunning visual.

TV makers are retiring 3D, but when I bought LG OLED 2016 model, it comes with the passive 3D and only two sets of glasses are included. I need more the passive 3D glasses. I could find cheap ones from Amazon, but when I stopped by Best Buy I found that they were on clearance. Each costed only $3.99.
Comfortable, and working very well. For the passive 3D glasses, it is just a matter of quality. In that sense, this Sony one does not look cheap, but it is solid and well finished.

Best 4K bluray player at market

I bought PS3 when I needed bluray player. But for 4K UHD bluray, I decided to buy this Samsung one instead of XBOX ONE S, because I wanted the dedicated player and I did not trust much MS hardware. This Samsung player is good enough in both price and performance. It boots up very fast, and good upscaling for bluray disk.

Strange ending at the end

does tv have to be reset?
No need to reset TV. Simply connect it to TV, and go to TV menu and re-scan channels. I think the most recent TV has the functionality of scan channels and store them.
