I was looking for the 180 gramm reissue with all of the inserts. This is a straight up picture disc with no extras. This is NOT what I was looking for but I've never seen a picture disc like this so it's cool. I ended up ordering the 180 gramm reissue from a vinyl dealer in Canada. I recieved the album that I originally wanted in about 5 days.

I'm an old school Metallica fan. I have almost everything they've recorded but I prefer the original sound. It bugs me when people compare this album to Kill, Ride or Master. They've never recorded anything remotely close to those albums. That being said ... I didn't buy this album expecting to hear a return to past glories. I love what they did in the past and I respect them for it but this band is a different animal now. I got what I paid for and I'm not complaining.

I saw this concert "live" and it was really cool. The video is a good reminder of the songs but it doesn't feel like a "live" concert. It's very clean and seems more like a movie than a concert. I'm glad to have it because it's the final thing the Crue did but I would've preferred a more concert feel than a movie.

These guys are on fire with this collection. I'd say this is probably the best they've ever been. Rob sounds so good and really brings this concert to life. I do miss KK but Ritchie is a great guitar player. I want to buy this on CD but I'm a little sad it doesn't include songs that are on the Blu-ray. I'm very happy with the Blu-ray and I'd say it's worth every penny. You could get the DVD but this concert deserves the Blu-ray treatment in my opinion.
