The hose is sturdy and doesn't move when air passes through it. I was told that I had to have it professionally installed to maintain the warranty on my drier. This was the easiest install I have seen and I am not clear why it had to have a professional installation. The elbow connections are reinforced and are solid.

I wanted to save room and this allows my drier to be placed on top of my washer. The stacking kit installs quickly with a few screws. It minimizes scratches on the washer.
