The adapter works perfectly. I personally got the entire package just for the adapter so that i could use it in conjunction with the Cronus Max Plus in order to use a Xbox 360 Controller on a PS4. The only gripe that i have with the controller is that the plastics on mine didn't fit that well so there are sharp edges on the sides and the D-pad is a little bit stiff. All in all it still works great and i would still recommend it.

Allows the use of 360 controllers on PS4

Well, kinda. First the product has to be updated though the computer and you need to either use a wired Xbox 360 controller or use a wireless Xbox 360 PC controller adapter, which is not included and is something to consider.
It also doesn't automatically connect properly each time, but i think that is the fault of my USB hub not working properly.
*Disclaimer* I have not tested this product with any other consoles or controllers. The included picture shows the proper way to connect the entire system so that i can work.
