Great edition into the comic book heroes series

I liked this installment best of the 3 X-Men movies as I felt it focused on the central characters that were introduced and established in the 1st movie. Great special effects and sound are only enhanced on the blu-ray edition.

What's great about it: The special effects are excellent and the sheer amount of heroes makes it worthwhile
What's not so great: It leaves you wanting more and having to wait for the next installment to the franchise

Classic Vietnam war film

Full Metal Jacket is one of my favorite war films ever and to have it on blu-ray dvd for the highest quality sound and picture was a must for me. Seeing it again reminded me why I liked it so much the 1st time and filled me with satisfaction to now have it in the best quality available for a film with lots of action (explosions, gunfire and general warfare) in it.

What's great about it: The 2 stories in 1 movie feel.
What's not so great: Not enough extras for such an acclaimed film

Another original Tarantino film with a great cast!

I recently purchased this dvd as I am a fan of Quentin Tarantino's directing. Although this film is set during World War II I found it to be up to par with all Tarantino's other films as it was filled with twists and turns to the story. The acting of the ensemble cast was quite good and nomination worthy.

What's great about it: The casting and the storyline is really good and original
What's not so great: It seems a bit long at points in the story, but quickly reverses that feeling once the plot is established

Extras galore with Alternate movie

I recently bought a blu-ray dvd of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy *Rich Mahogany Edition specifically because it is blu-ray and has top quality sound and picture and more so over because it has an alternate version of the movie that I also had called "Wake-Up Ron Burgundy" that has quite a bit of the same footage but with so much deleted or unused footage they were able to make another movie out the extra stuff. I enjoyed the alternate version so much I thought it to be good and well worth it to re-purchase it on the blu-ray dvd format and packaged nicely in one dual disc packaging.

What's great about it: It was good as it was all the things I liked of the original and then alot more done with a different storyline.
What's not so great: It cost a bit more, but understandably so since it is two different movies from the same initial story
