Granted, I haven't read the directions......I haven't been able to get the top on it yet and am a little confused as to how to get the bottom part with the blades off for washing. However, I have used it every morning since purchase (just throwing the entire piece in dishwasher for cleaning) and it works very nicely. The suction cups on the bottom keep the blender securely in place on the counter. The blender is glass unlike many products in this price range.

Very large capacity, it handles king size quilts!

I have been pleased with this washing machine. Thankfully, it uses more water than my last energy efficient washer so my washed items actually get washed. The tub is HUGE, which is great for washing king size quilts! However, if I were any shorter (I am 5'7"), I would not be able to reach our socks at the bottom of the tub! That's alright as I wanted a large capacity. One complaint is that this washer sometimes badly tangles our clothes. I've never had this issue. Not a big deal as it does a good job cleaning.

The dry is wonderful. I haven't used the steam feature yet but have used many of the other settings. I am very pleased that the low heat setting is in fact very low so it doesn't damage delicate items. My one complaint is the lint filter. It does not capture as much of the lint as it should and I have to remove the lint filter and vacuum inside the unit frequently. I have not had this issue before with less expensive dryers.

Can the sink be removed without jeopardizing the integrity of the washer performance?
Best Buy told me it could with a special tool. Don't know what tool they were speaking of. I do wish one could take it on and put it back on easily.

Is the basin removable when not in use?
Have seen reviews of people hitting their heads on it while unloading washer- Wondering if it can be removed if not being used for pre-treatments?
I was told by Best Buy that yes, it can be removed but requires special tools to do the job.
