I put off installing this phone for 2 weeks because I assumed it would take 2-3 hours. I had it set up and made a test call in about 20 minutes. The calls are clear the phone has just as good a call quality as the xfinity VoIP it replaced.

What's not so great: Have to pay a steep fee to port prior phone number.

Does this unit use a touch type soft material under the buttons that can wear out after many uses?
My 650 lasted about 5 years with daily use. I replaced it with another 650 because the down arrow button did finally quit responding to all but the strongest touch. I figure it cost me about $8 per year when I bought it’s replacement and that is not a bad price considering nothing lasts forever.
